
Congratulations to the Huntsville High School Hoyas Junior and Senior girls teams for both winning the Muskoka-Parry Sound Basketball Championships on Tuesday November 8th in Bracebridge.
The Seniors topped the BMLSS team in the semi-final and went on to beat the St. Dominics team from Bracebridge in the final. The Hurricanes were represented on each of the HHS and BMLSS teams.
The Juniors bested the Almaguin Highlands Secondary School in the final. There were Hurricane players on both teams.
Both teams move on to the GBSSA championship tournament at Huntsville High School, with their brand new floor and baskets, on Wednesday November 16th. The Junior team will play at 9 am and the Senior team will play at 12 pm in their first elimination games.
