The U14 Girls won their season opener against the South Muskoka Breakers 45 -19. The Hurricanes jumped out to an early lead by turning over the Breakers and lead 27 - 4 at halftime. The second half had the Hurricanes maintain the lead.
Eva Martins lead the Hurricanes with 12 points, Kaila Oliver had 7 points with 11 of the 15 players scoring at least one point.
The Hurricanes travel to Hoop Dome on Sunday November 19 for two Ontario Basketball League games.
